Noa Sit-Stand Desk

Designed By Tom Parfitt

    Security

Noa is a compact, height adjustable ergonomic desk for home working designed around the tenets of biophilic design and made from solid oak.  Noa is highly tactile with sides and top that are shaped with softly, rounded edges. A central sit-stand mechanism allows for the table top to smoothly rise and fall, controlled by a console on the underside.

Noa is offered with a whitened or grey oil finish with a choice of black, grey or white mechanics.  A timber down-stand neatly hides the desk’s electrics and the cabling conveniently runs down the central column.

    OUR STORY

    About the designer

    Tom Parfitt

Tom joined Benchmark as an apprentice furniture maker  in 2005. After training as a cabinet maker for 5 years, he left to study for a degree in Furniture Design & Make at Rycotewood in Oxford.  After recognising a gap in the market for a well-designed and beautiful height adjustable desk,  he began developing the concept for Noa around the things he considered important when furnishing his own home.

    Designed WELL

    Ergonomics

We make furniture that has been designed with depth of meaning, function and elegance.  The ergonomics of a design are given as much consideration as the aesthetics, which means ensuring that our designs are the best possible fit for the user, the environment and the task.

Our Sit-Stand desks provide the ability to alternate between sitting and standing positions which is proven to bring numerous health and productivity benefits.
