The Gleda Side Table is made from solid oak with a choice of whitened, aged or ebonised finish. Designed to sit alongside a sofa or partnered with the Gleda Coffee Table, it has a generous top that shows off the beauty of the wood grain to full advantage and is elegantly perched on three legs which share the same design language as our Gleda chairs.

Traditional Techniques

Ebonising

Ebonising is a traditional technique that uses a mixture of steel wool and vinegar which reacts with the natural tannins in the oak. It creates a lovely inky black colour which we then finish with a clear oil.
