OVO Armchair

Designed By Foster + Partners

    Security

Refined and with a pared back aesthetic, the OVO armchair is made in solid oak with a choice of ebonised or natural finish; and solid walnut.  Available with either a timber or upholstered seat, it has a soft, pillowed finish to the tops of the armrests and softly bevelled edges on the back and seat making it both comfortable to sit on and incredibly tactile.

The upholstered seat is made with natural, organic sheep’s wool filling which meets fire regulations without the addition of toxic chemicals.  We have chosen Sorensen Dunes Leather for its smooth, almost velvety matt finish.  It is an aniline leather with subtle natural markings and will look even better as it ages.  This collection of leather has received the Nordic Swan Ecolabel – a highly-respected certification verifying that it meets their rigorous requirements regarding the environment, use of energy and resources.

    Carbon Footprint

We have invested in Life Cycle Assessments and independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s) to demonstrate the impact of our furniture.

The OVO armchair with a timber seat has a negative carbon footprint which means that it stores more carbon than it emits during manufacture, distribution and use. For further information, please download the EPD.
